I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

It's been one of those days where this German bird flu cartoon strip about a joke by a chicken seems hilarious.
Translation: Hatschi! - Achoo!
Nein! - no! Das war nicht lustig! - That was not funny! Kapiert? - Understood?
Your German Professor sounds kind of fun ... Mondays in the lab might not seem quite so bleak if you get to watch him talking to the rats in that way ...
I really hesitated about posting the cartoon, and deleted it once, but then offered it up as a small piece of humour as it had made me laugh :)

Finding comedy in bird flu?
Boy...you must've had a *really* lousy day.
Sal
Very funny! Thanks for the translation.
I'm having one of those days too, except that the bird flu is right on my doorstep, possibly in the form of someone's cat. :-O
It was a really bad day Sal, but the joke was kind of cute ... the little chicken lying on the ground laughing hysterically amused me.
It's okay mozza, although I suspect I'm the only mono=lingual person left in the world.
I'm sorry christina, I guess you might not find this one so amusing then ... :(
