I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

A snapshot
Gert's home, using up the last of his holiday days so we're off to the city to finalise my new Belgian bank account, open a library membership and find some photographs.
This blog needs some photographs, urgently.
Tot straks!

Bank account, library card, photography? Ths blog seems to be integrating itself in society. :P
It's been about 5 years ... too long, far too long. The English section in the Antwerpen city library made my mouth water. It's an almost forgotten pleasure ... free books!
