I hope that you at this moment will think of yourself as a human being rather than as an american, asian, european, african, or member of any particular country. These loyalties are secondary. If you and I find common ground as human beings, we will communicate on a basic level.

He is, isn't he. Nationalism is such a pain out in the world. I saw a little of it in Turkey and I see it all over Europe. I wish we could all live by his ideas. Life would be nicer.

Life sure would be nicer.

Being part of a minority myself, I know all about it. Unfortunately, the world is not about to listen.

Did you listen to the recent campaign speeches of US right-wing GOP candidate Huckabee? He was "most unkind" to the +30 million gay/lesbian/bi US citizens...

Imagine that man getting elected...

Hi - just a general comment to say I visited, I saw, I read and I liked very much - as always!

Maybe we should all wear the same long orange dresses ... that would pay more attention to the differences in personalities rather than races, colours or nationalities.
Yesterday I had a most interesting talk with a white "Antwerpse Vlaams Belanger" who married a lady from Morocco a few months ago and is trying now to have the permission to move her to Belgium ... becoming a habit in the VB?
Let's see it as a good sign ...
See you tomorrow,

I tend not to listen to right-wing speeches and I'm always stunned when I find friends who have slipped to the right ... they seem to become very righteous about right and wrong along the way and it usually involves them being gifted the land that they live on, no matter how they came by it ;)

Lovely to find you here chiefbiscuit, as always. I hope you're enjoying your lovely summer over there.

Oh Lut, those VBers are special, there they are trying to keep immigrants out and they keep marrying foreigners. Maybe the orange outfit would work but I think people need to be made colour-blind too.
