I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

Now tell me, why did you leave that place? It's like the movie version of England, only better.
I read your comment and realised that it will be good to come home and meet you. I feel like we'll have things to talk about over coffee at Nova, if it's still as good as when I left NZ last time.

It's not as pretty as Antwerp so I guess you don't miss it much. : )
Once upon a time, there was this Dunedin chick living happily in Istanbul ... working and seeing the world.
Then she met this Flemish guy and the rest, my dear, is history ;)
Giggling here ... uh huh, V.
Yea, V, so true. And did you notice that lack of polution? How can anyone live like that?
Wow! I gotta go there one day when all my d-word stuff settles.
It's complicated, Manic but we manage to get by, struggling with the fresh air, with the seals and penguins free on beaches and space.
Furiousball, you do!
Lol me too, once I start earning that all elusive steady income.
Even I was tearful! And I live and work there ... Thanks for starting my day off well, Di.
A pleasure, chiefbiscuit.
