I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.
Hey Philip, lovely to find you here and thanks for your commment.
Nope I didn't Mark, as always I took a series and usually only one or two of a series are made public. I don't mess with my photographs much if at all, this one was unaltered.
Chiefbiscuit, thank you! 'Busy as ever' indeed, going a little crazy at times. I'm hoping the Belgians can work out a solution to Jessie's ongoing chronic tonsilitis ... we'll see.

That is a wonderfully composed and well lit portrait!
Did you flip this over from the one you showed me?

So pensive. Love this angle as well as the angle of the previous one in the series that you posted.
Thanks v-grrrl. I made her laugh a couple of times but I don't think I'm allowed to publish those ones.
I'm hoping for a sitting in the park one day soon ... then we'll see what is possible.

Now I have more choices for my desktop wallpaper, thankyou Di
