I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

A little thing
On Saturday, Feb. 25, at 7:16 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, the population on Earth is projected to hit 6.5 billion .
That's over 2.5 billion since I was born, wondering how many more before I die. God! let me for once make a difference, not by destroying but by preventing.
the momentum keeps it pushing, In India a two child norm is being advocated with the phrase, "we two, ours two!" and more recently even 1 child, "One family, one child!".
Despite all this India is expected to overtake China's population in the coming decades.
Egan's wasn't very original with his comments to this post. :-P I think that's just his standard answer to anything he doesn't have an opinion on. Ha ha...
This population thing...it's a crazy fact to wrap your brain around, isn't it?

I'm not sure your mother will be happy with that news, egan ... :)
Disturbing, isn't it jeyavel. But there is increasing infertility and a desire for smaller families in many countries these days ...
