The reality was even better than the photographs that lured me here, although it was too full of people for this woman more used to empty New Zealand beaches.
So that was my Sunday.
I hope yours was a good one too.
Ciao!
I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

Lovely photos today. Hope you're getting some work done as well as all your wandering and photographic master pieces -_-
Wow - it would never have occurred to me to walk it. Then again, when I lived there I had an Italian girlfriend who chauffered me around on the back of her Vespa...
Thanks Jess. Working and wandering ... it feels quite perfect :)
Simon, I do believe you and your girlfriend :) were wise to Vespa it. It was so hot yesterday that I almost expired on Corso Italia.
