You know Di, I'm really impressed with Simon's work.

Not only did he bring the appropriate equipment ( a quality DSLR), but he also manged to capture the atmosphere of the event,
with the line-up shot being my favorite.

I'll get you my snapshot CD, but trust me, they won't compare.

Thanks Di (and Peter). I felt a bit self-conscious with my constant loud clicking, but no-one seemed to mind, and everyone was kind enough to stand very still while I tried various exposure settings (you should see how many too-dark or camera-shake shots I had to delete...).

He's good, isn't he Peter. I loved the images of the people there - I didn't really get to 'see' a lot. For a change, I wasn't the photographer observing, I was right there in the middle of it all.

Simon, a professional photographer once talked of the photographs he had to delete (or throw away in those days of slide films) The goal become getting the rejection numbers down and he did over time :)

Glad you enjoyed it, Gary. And thanks for capturing it, Simon :)

Rest ... I would have scoffed but I crashed and burned this afternoon, sleeping from 4pm, off and on until 9.30pm, now hoping I sleep tonight, Kay :)
