I do apologise ...

For the fact that politics keep spilling onto this blog but as a person out in the world, I find the prospect of a McCain/Palin government in America completely appalling and so very dangerous for me, as a citizen of this world.

I would like the world as I know it to continue to exist so that I can wander on ...

thanks amigo. i'd like to visit the states again one year soon and under the present administration, it's not an appealing homelands security gaunlet to run. if mccain and palin got in, i could only imagine it getting so much worse.

ho ho. you think YOU'RE troubled by it? over here in seattle all we do is giggle and laugh and look forward to the day! because hey, what could be better than a self centered uneducated conservative with extreme right wing values and an odd sense of entitlement running the nation?

oh, wait! we have one of those already!

Everyone is so on edge with this election. So many emotions running deep. It's very easy to offend friends and family these days. 47 days to go! I was working at our local Democratic office today and a woman who moved here from Wasilla, Alaska walked in the door with a huge white Samoyed. I'd never even HEARD of that place a few weeks ago, and now I'm running into people from there! Crazy. (She moved just before Palin became mayor, but she had stories to tell too.)

heh.. Di the thing that I love about you is that your passion spills all over the place whenever your tiny little kiwi mouth can no longer contain itself. :) xo

No apologies necessary....except by those who voted twice for Bush. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it is to read your heartfelt posts and the strong comments from your readers.

Well phew ... thanks guys.

So you'll be back to play 'roadtrips' with me if the unthinkable happens Pam?

Thanks anon!

Great to read that you're doing the dem office thing, RD. 47 days ... I'm not sure I wanted to know that.

Oh Shanti! You made everyone laugh here ... my little wee mouth that can't quite do the Dutch thing huh. xxxxxxxxxx

You can't know how relieved I was to find your words here, Lydia. Thank you!

Oh and you KNOW how I feel at the possibility of having 4 more years of this idiocy! And even worse if Palin becomes the one heartbeat away person!! I think we all owe it to you to vote against McCain/Palin just so you can come and visit me here in Ohio!! (The state that often determines who is the winner) Unless the Supreme Court makes that decision!! Yea Obama!!!

I just was told I could not comment on this blog!!! Oh dear,, Sarah has already taken over!!!
As I tried to say before, we all have to defeat Sarah and her tag along partner so that Di can come visit me in Ohio! Of course we all agree that politics is important!!

Lol, your grand master plan ML?

I'm glad you won the battle of 'I'm posting here'. xo

I can barely bring myself to come out from under the covers when I think about a McCain/Palin win.
