Salamancan Doorway, originally uploaded by - di.

I feel the contented baker's joy and then
dawn breaks weak and violin-coloured
with the sound of a bell with the smell of distance.

Pablo Neruda.

Thanks Van. I'm completely in love with Neruda at the moment ... reading Adam Feinstein's biography of him and planning a splurge on some Neruda poetry in English next time I'm paid.

You will have to give me a tutorial on how you preserve colour in your images. Mine always look dingy, kinda like I put a black sock in a whites wash

Come on over, Ms Deadly Jelly, although you're probably better off studying that with my daughter who is quite the whizz in photoshop. We can drink wine and chat oh and sightsee and stuff.

I know, I know, Ms V, it's beautiful, isn't it!!! :) I'm quite in love with Pablo these days.
