I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.
(also read your harvard post, and sleeplessness post; above. what a world we are living in now. we have been getting drones over this area nightly for some time - it has been on the news; and I imagine just a fraction of what this woman is experiencing)
I remember an incredibly disturbing article where Kevin Sites wrote of trying to send a report out of either Lebanon or Palestine and he was told that if the drones picked him up near his communication equipment at night he would be shot dead.
I can't imagine the menace of a drone, it must be appalling knowing that something mechanised is hunting you.
