I think it's so easy to love Italy because of things like this ... it seemed to me that the house and the trees shared a shape, an outline.
I saw the same curves in the house that I could see above and beyond in the trees.
Meanwhile we leave for the symposium in an hour. My task is to document an evening with artists, poets and academics. I'll let you know how it goes ...
I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

WOW! look at that cool house!
adorable shapes. they do indeed go well together. not enough round buildings in the western world, is my humble opinion... just you wait 'till you get to the roundness of Gaudi...
btw, the word-verification-word for di-commenting today is "dionizer" :-0 :-D
At first I actually thought they were a part of each other. What is the structure? A castle?
It is, isn't it Van. Italy calls :)
Dionizer ... really, kompostella. I've since seen a couple of round buildings but nothing with the aesthetic deliciousness of this one.
I think it's 'just' a house, Anil. They work well together, don't they.
