That is what this election should be focusing on. Everything else is just bogus rhetoric designed by cynical candidates who think Americans are so stupid — so bloody stupid — that if you just show them wind turbines in your Olympics ad they’ll actually think you showed up and voted for such renewable power — when you didn’t.

This man is one of our national treasures. If we all would simply follow his advice, I suspect we'd be living in a different world.

I so agree, RD! I felt like he went off the boil a couple of years ago but he is surely well and truly back.

Thanks for posting this, I had missed it as I didn't get to read the paper earlier last week. Anoother strike against McCain - why doesn't the rest of the media focus on these things?

I don't know why the media are passing over the idiocy of McCain ... I'm scared he'll get in.
