By volunteering to work with the integration people here in Antwerpen, I opened doors into worlds I never expected to enter ... worlds I didn't realise existed ... and it's been grand.
Today I had the most remarkable time working around the most remarkable people.
In this image I loved the way that the skin on the actor's arm echoes the shape of the individual 'beads' on the necklace he was wearing.
I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

Beautiful...I haven't seen his face yet but I can definitely see where he has what it takes to be a model.
I'll get his permission and blog some of his modelling shots after the session :)
Wonderful photographs! Obviously he's very photogenic and your photography skills certainly work their magic.
I get to spend a couple of hours with him on Saturday, I'm so curious to see what we get from the photography session ... :)
