My little red couch

the little red couch, originally uploaded by - di.

I didn't want to take a standard record shot of the couch ... I hope you survive this angle.

Imagine the dimensions of our elevator, the one that takes 4 people or 300kg ... whichever comes first. It's 1 metre wide, 75cm deep and just over 2 metres high.

The spiral staircase is something else entirely but we did it and the red marks will come off the cream wall ...

Anyway, this is the comfiest couch I've had anything to do with in a long while ...

It sure does look great and very, very comfy!

Having an in-house spiral case myself I applaud the both of you for getting it all the way up there...

It looks great. Very bookclub cafe like.

Sorry about the vertigo, furiousball ... but straight on was just too boring to look at.

It's veryvery comfy Peter, perfect for curling up in with a book or two.

And yes, applause bordering on standing ovation is precisely what we deserve for getting it up that spiral staircase, as you know :)

It is, isn't it Manic. Poor Gert, he's got a cosy comfy bookclub couch kind of woman lol.

Of course I'm a bit partial to red sofas (I have two!) but the best thing about yours is how we both could take a corner of it and have a conversation. Bigger than an American "loveseat," smaller than a full size couch.

We could both take a corner and then sit curled in those corners if we wanted. I love that couch :) I guess I'm not subtle about that huh.

P.S. Ours is red as well. Soon everyone's going to want one. :-)

Oh I LOVE this couch! It looks so soft and plush and perfect for curling up in and reading!!!! You need some Moroccan pillows, all brocade and gold threaded!!

You're so right, Claudia. I had the same idea but Gert is a little bit nervous about it all :)
