Oh, this is so reassuring. Because I truly don't think I've hit my prime yet, and I was wondering if I'd miss it altogether!
I loved the idea of it too but I'm almost sure we have many primes ... they're just different, kind of seasonal :)
There's a quote I so love about a woman's prime from Julia by Lillian Hellman, although I found it most stirring when spoken by Jane Fonda as Vanessa Redgraves walked at Oxford in the movie:
It was in our nineteenth year that she went away to Oxford. The second year she was there I went to visit her. There are women who reach a perfect time of life, when the face will never again be as good, the body never as graceful or as powerful. It had happened that year to Julia.....
