I'm trying to process Friday's photo-shoot for a colleague who only has a couple of days in the office this week.
Earlier this evening I was telling a Roman friend that even the puddles in Rome were beautiful. I was talking of this ... and now, of course, I'm thinking about how good it will be to return there in March.
I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

Don't work too hard! I sent you an email - did you get it?
Hi Kay, another Dunedin mail that didn't come in ... I don't know what gmail is up to. I emailed anyway, the second publisher's email arrived, perhaps it will be like this with you too :(
Amazing photograph Di! And it seems you & I share an affinity for the wee hours of the night, though while you're "still working" it seems my days tend to begin around 3am. I simply wake ready for the day before dawn has dawned.
Best Regards
Thanks Antiques Diva, but it's all about Rome - even the puddles are beautiful.
Hmmm, I'm not sure which I would prefer - my night or your early start.
