I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.
It does but I'm a sucker for the exquisite image too, Tara and a few of those scenes gift me memories of New Zealand somehow.
Do you know, Simon ... the add only made me think of the handbag salesmen you see on the streets of Rome ... the ones who pick up their merchandise and run like hell when they see the police :)

You're quite welcome. Isn't it gorgeous? Of course the music plays a key role.
I feel a sudden urge to buy a handbag...

What a lovely combination of sight and sound. I kept thinking of Obama.
I kept thinking, for some odd reason, of a line by Allen Curnow: "Where is the world?" Thanks Di.
It is lovely, isn't PI.
Lovely to find you here, Harvey. It was good to spend some time catching up on your world, and seeing that NZ beach just took my breath, as it does.
I'm glad it made you think of Allen.
