Icicles, Antwerpen Zoo

Icicles, Antwerpen Zoo, originally uploaded by - di.

It was THIS cold at the zoo today.

This was a little stream that flowed around one of the enclosures. I was delighted when I noticed these icicles because ... 1. I really was 'that' cold and 2. they were so very very beautiful.

You guys don't do things by halves do you!
Goodness that looks cold - 32 degrees Celsius here today, too hot to motorcycle into town - just about melted at the red traffic lights.

Everyone in New Zealand seems intent on writing to tell me of the heat over there ... sigh.

I guess it's payback for me writing from my European summer of travel huh ;)

Very lovely, Di. It's cold here too - the ponds in the Bois are all frozen over. I spent a freezing day at the flea market! Sigh. xoxox

Oh Tara, the whole day? We were frozen to the core after 3 hours in the city yesterday. Stay warm and hope to see you in January. xo
