The Ziekhuis

Different to the ziekenhuis which is the hospital here - our house is full of sick people today.

It began with Sahara, who came home with a rattling good cough a couple of days ago. Now Jessie's going down with what looks suspiciously like her old foe, tonsillitis, and here am I, so full of aches and pains that all I can do is stare vacantly at the computer screen, wondering if it really possible for my feet to be 'that' cold.

Off to find painkillers ...

Tot straks.

Poor newbies, still not acclimatised to our ferocious diseases. All be well one day, get a flu shot, btw, it will save you a lot of trouble in January.

But I hate flu shots, she wails.

Sigh ...

hey Diane - how's things . . . . apart from the flu that is. It's Lynne, of 'Lynne and Phil' - 2 kiwis you met in Messines back in June.
We are currently in Edinburgh, Scotland. Now after 18 months travelling we are about to start makin' our way home in the next few weeks.
To get some SUNSHINE hopefully!!! Been a very wintry summer here in Britain, wish we'd stayed in Europe!!

Hi Lynne! It was so good to find your comment here. I have some stuff for you, I must begin emailing it. Hopefully I'll get to it over the weekend. The website has been delayed while the webdesigner does her thing ... kind of slowly. We're hoping to launch before Christmas but let's see how that goes.

Home ... safe travels.

Ummm staying in Europe but out of Belgium, as we didn't really do summer this year. I'm back in Messines in October, will think of you guys while there.

Hey v-grrrl, better today, painkillers helped. I guess we're going to be exposed to all those new and delicious kindergarten germs that little Miss Three is going to bring home ...

Doesn't sound good, I hope Jessica is ok for her trip to Germany and I hope it's not going to be to much trouble for you when she does.

Give them my love will you.

Hi Jon, I think Jessie's throat was just reminding her and it didn't take off. It's no worries to look after Sahara :) Hope things are going okay for you.
