I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

Siesta
One concept is clear ... siesta.
The logic of a three hour fall through the crack of a day makes perfect sense.
Best to pick up the Piero Della Francesca book, wander upstairs and give in to it.
I wish it was my house, I think that's why I've carried the photo for so long ... kind of looking for it.
There's a quote I associate with it: 'The house protects the dreamer; the houses that are important to us are the ones that allow us to dream in peace. Frances Mayes.

Note: not my photograph, just one I've loved for years.
LOL, I popped in to ask if it was your house.....Oh, that window! We have to wander off and find it.
