I caught the bus to the train and the train to the metro and the metro to v-grrrl's.
We're spending the next couple of days saying bye, with time out at work tomorrow.
'Bye' quite possibly translates as wandering, talking, shopping, coffee-stopping, talking, wine-drinking, talking ... anything that doesn't resemble the reality that is V & Co flying out next week.
Tot ziens from the Brussels-based kiwi.

are Tot ziens some form of tater-tots? if so, they sound delicious.
You plonker ... Van.
'So he's eaten Tots like in Napolean Dynamite then', says the v-grrrl.
Apparently not many people admit to Tot eating, Meneer Furiousball.
Tot ziens - Goodbye
Tot straks - see you later - roughly translated in a kiwi kind of way.
That's the curse of the expat life isn't it- continuously saying goodbye to foreign friends... There's no doubt though that you'll have a memorable time in Brussels, enjoy each other's company while you still can!
Sigh. Just sigh.
We had a lovely time, Inge. And yes, it's a curse but it's a blessing, as they're only gone for a while and the reunions are always so good. I have lovely friends all over the world after a life of movement.
And a 'sigh' reply from my Saturday. You are good people, v-grrrl. Thanks for the loveliest time.
