When I Lived In One Place, I Had Pets

There was Sandie, a white Labrador and quite possibly the most intelligent dog on the planet and Lucia, the most machevillian Istanbul kitten ...a demon despite appearances. Hmmmm, perhaps Gert might like a puppy as a birthday surprise...

Thanks for your kind comments on the View from Fez! As a fellow kiwi ( mmm, did you guess that?) I would love you to link to my site. I am a writer, broadcaster and dramatist and have a wonderful house (riad) in Morocco where I spend half the year writing.

Blog on!

Yes, puppy is always good surprise! Even if he doesn't like the idea, he can't refuse those little eyes and that little wagging tail!

Hei Hei, Dobermann - Sina olet Helsingissa? Niin on! I love Helsinki and lived there as a guest of the government for two years.

Good to read you think the puppy's a good idea too ... altho I found myself thinking about it as I walked home from class just now ... if me and my puppy get sent away, will it be easy to get it into Turkey. I don't know how gratefully received she would be lol.

A guest of the government ... Helsink ... Samir, it sounds like such an incredibly interesting life

Ah... a long story. Over a glass of wine sometime. Sadly my Finnish is fading fast!
