I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

The View From Fez
I found a very cool blogsite while webwandering last night. Since moving to Belgie I've come to know people from Morocco and become curious about their country and culture ... as I knew so very little before. Anyway, I found this site The View From Fez It's a site with a wee twist that fooled me ... ;)

You are too kind! ( are no secrets safe, huh?) In return I have linked your site (as Wandering Woman).
Kia Ora.
'Doh!' I did blab ... have altered the posting I wrote your site up in. Lol, sorry ...
Thank's for the link.
Mmmm, and as soon as I'm legal and earning in this Belgian world, there's definately some reading I'm curious to do.
Reading of Morocco definately brings on a case of 'homesick for Istanbul', and it only got worse after wandering into 'cat in rabat' from your page.
Salam!
Yes blogs can be worse than cupboards in Narnia, or mirrors in "Lilith:... you never know where you will end up. Or Helm's Deep...
Or maybe ( given my tendencies) I should say blogs can be better...
You should stay illegal - it has a certain charm. Now I must away through the mirror.
Ma'salama
Mmmm, the charm of being an illegal in winter in Belgie has its moments. It was so much more exotic being 'not quite 100% perfectly so' in Turkey.
Anyway, the Fez in the wardrobe is definately an interesting one ... I'll be there for days.
Tot ziens
Just a quick observation. I attempted to load your blog many times in a half hour period only to get stuck on the "Flikr" box. It eventually loaded, but it seems the location of the box ( at the top) is slowing down your site. Mayeb move it down? I was using a Firefox browser, and when I switched to IE6 I had the same problem. It actually froze at the point of loading the Flikr box...
It was happening to me yesterday too and I hadn't thought of moving Flickr. I tried it this morning and found that then the page only loaded to where flickr used to be ... so I put flickr back. I think it might be blogger itself. It's happened in the past and seems to clear up on its own.
It's frustrating though ... hope it's better today. :)
