Ice Cream Man, Jonathan Richman

This is one of my favourite songs and quite possibly it reveals a little of the terrible twisted humour that runs deep in me ...

To be played on long road trips, scouts and school bus trips surely, or when everyone at the party has had enough alcohol.

Play it to the end for maximum enjoyment. I still can't listen to it without belly laughing as it runs for the full 8 minutes and 7 seconds. You can read more about Jonathan Richman here.

Dank u wel, Diede, for that long ago gift that still makes me laugh.

He has a true story song here.

He's a funny man. Actually he looks a little like a goofy version of our youngest son ;!

He's delicious and makes me laugh whenever I play this. I'm glad you liked it and congratulations on having a son who looks like a non-goofy version of him, as he's not bad looking :)

i'm glad that after trying to teach you as many important things in life as possible in about a month, wine drinking and jonathan richman are the only things that really stuck. good taste you turned out to have.

I do believe I would still have you on the floor hysterical if you heard some of my Nederlands ;) but yes, it seems the good things stuck.

It's a while since I heard this.....think it was in the peninsular house. Thanks, needed a laugh today.

I imagine it was one of those peninsula houses I lived in ... Diede introduced me to it there and forever after I've shared it.

Take care of yourself
