Right here, Right now in Antwerpen - 8 Feb, 2007

It's cold this morning, they're telling us to expect 3-4cms of snow ...

It's meant to disappear in the afternoon because of rain but this is just over an hour's worth of snow.

Thank you Mark for patiently putting up with me taking the photograph while talking with you on skype ... putting up with my discovery the memory card wasn't in the camera, putting up with my realisation that I had bumped the camera onto timer, putting up with my cellphone ringing ...

We got snow and more than just a lawn coverer. I think it started to melt already. Stupid hot Belgium! Ahh well.

It's still snowing here ... quite a few cms ... sigh, you know they're talking of rain this afternoon.

I woke up this morning to a winter wonderland! Sadly, it has since stopped and is currently turning to brown slush :(

Ours stopped about 1pm and it's melting too fast. It seems done for now. No brown slush, then again, I haven't been outside :)

I love this photo and all it's layers and textures. Who knew gray could be so, so beautiful?

Thanks v-grrrl.
I was snow-coated just from opening the window to take the series :)

I agree with v-grrrl, you make grey beautiful. Something I am having a hard time seeing right now. It's a nice photo.

Last year, my first winter in Europe, I struggled to find beauty in grey scenary and a new life as an in-process immigrant, however this year has offered up more blue sky days ... thankfully.

Good luck with your search for colour and just by the way, I find colour in your blog :)
