Lisen came wandering in the city with us, guiding us through the back streets to the Suleymaniye Mosque ... we found this cemetery along the way.

The cemetery was so incredibly peaceful and elegant, Van.

Glad the postcard arrived, there was some confusion created by moi ... at the Post Office in Istanbul :)

That's really beautiful! I ave seen a few Muslim cemeteries here in Albania too and they're really different.

You make me want to see Albania, Kim. I enjoy the sense of peace found in the mosques too ... so different to the weight of a cathedral. One of the Turkish architects worked on the secondary light effect - beautiful beautiful.
