I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

Home ... in a way that I remember
Imagine if someone described your old world this well ... this heartbreakingly beautifully that you recognised it, without even imagining that might be where she was.
As a person who lives in exile from her land, I found it so achingly beautiful. Thank you for sharing this blog.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked it too, Yoli. I borrowed from your blog after wandering on over to check it out.
