I wandered out the bakery this morning and successfully returned to the apartment. It's always lovely when I don't get lost and there are no incidents.
Before heading out to catch my Thalys back to Antwerpen, Tara introduced me to some Spring in a Parisian Park.
Beautiful!
for some reason I always thought that Paris would be all lights and buildings.
ReplyDeleteI can see I was wrong, beautiful picture! :0
beautiful shot, really like the angle you chose here
ReplyDeleteParis is so many things, color of sunshine. And there's always more everytime I go. This little slice of Nature was a delight though.
ReplyDeleteThanks Van. I was using a new lens, the one I need for Berlin. I'm liking it. It was its first serious outing.
Di, I think you're right about the difference in the light when viewed on our respective laptops. On mine, this scene looks very dark, even though it wasn't and I know your photo didn't look dark. (Oh and the name of the park is the Bois du Boulogne, the city's largest park). xo

ReplyDeleteI'm going to callibrate my screen this weekend. It's long overdue. Did you know you can have your screen set for text or photographs ...
ReplyDeleteGert is a good and wise man. We need to pin him down to run a Saturday workshop for us ... on all we should know but can't because we're too busy with everything else ;)
Thanks for the park's name. I would never have remembered and my spelling well ... phonetic spelling is always kind of ugly
xo
Di, I have no intention trying to make fun of what you just posted,
ReplyDeletebut we couldn't help laughing here (ever so polite, really)
when you posted
'It's always lovely when I don't get lost and there are no incidents.'
:-))
Your Paris shots are impressive, as we've come to expect.
You were meant to laugh, Peter. It amuses me :) I have no sense of direction - for some reason, the only place I've never really been lost is Rome.
