I smiled over Ms DJ's latest post:
An extract: There are certain things you do not do with a Kiwi man, never never, no seriously not even ever. These include describing rugby as ‘only a game’; coming between him and a lamb chop; mispronouncing Kiwi place names; or slapping your elbows whilst licking your chin, and calling it a Haka.
Or calling bacon and egg pie ‘quiche’.
Some of those place names are very hard to pronounce. How about Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu or even the -at first sight easy- Te Puke (or not Te Puke) ?
ReplyDeleteAnd just like soccer, rugby is only a game. 'Aussie rules' however...
I had never seen Te Puk-eeee as Te Puke, thanks Raf ...
ReplyDeleteAussie Rules is the sport of the seriously deranged.
Ha ha! Hilarious. But nobody plays rugby like the All Blacks!
ReplyDeleteIndeed ... no one. Let's not talk about our football though.
ReplyDeleteSo, does this exist for the Belgian male too?
ReplyDeleteWell Manic, you inspired me and I have created a Lesson one with regard to the Belgian male.
