I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

I believe in the concept of 'anima mundi' (soul of the world), where each person, through total dedication to what he does, comes into contact with the inspiration of the universe. Paulo Coelho.
We are on the same wavelength today. I had just completed a post with some Coelho quotes and checked yours to find the same. Cals bought me the book Life, she is now reading Brida.....
I was looking for some info about a book where Paulo was interviewed, I've got it back home in NZ and stumbled across a newspaper interview with him - loved this quote :)
Nice, Van. I've always liked the idea of marching to different drum beats but then again, maybe I would lol.

ReplyDeletei like that. it reminds me somewhat of a Miles Davis' quote, "there's only one melody in this universe, and we all just pick it up in different areas"
