I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.
The photo session was moved to 3pm, so I started working my way through some photo folders and found this ... a memory of wandering the hallways of Castel Sant'Angelo, one sunny day back in May.
the colors in this are really cool. again, the age of Europe leaves me speechless
ReplyDeleteso ... if you give up sleeping and get a couple of extra jobs, we might see you over here soon?
ReplyDeletethink spring or autumn, avoid tourists ;)
i love so many things about europe these days ... only missing nature.
What a lovely photo. In Australia we paint things to look this old, and here it is an affect of nothing but time.
ReplyDeleteIt's magic, isn't it Leanne. New Zealand has to resort to the painting to create as we're about the same age.
ReplyDeleteNice to find you here :)
