I was offered, and acccepted, the job I was interviewed for last week!!
It works in so well with my other projects and will be the more serious, grown-up part of my life ... I needed that.
So it's Brussels once a week as a communications assistant for 6 months.
Wohoo! Go Di! Go Di!
ReplyDeleteDank u wel, Manic :)
ReplyDeleteExcellent news, Di! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteNever call yourself a "Communications Assistiant" luv. We are Communication Goddesses. : )
ReplyDeleteTakes one to know one.
congrats Di! Have I mentioned you rock lately?
ReplyDeleteHip hip hurray! Three cheers for DI!
ReplyDeleteThanks Christina!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'll test it and let you know how that goes V.
Lol thanks furiousball but it's just what normal people do - I just haven't done 'normal' in a while.
Thanks Kim :)
That's wonderful news, Di, gefeliciteerd! Now I guess you'll have to start practising your French - or just do like many Flemish people in Brussels & speak Dutch anyway ;-). Nog eens proficiat gewenst and good luck!!
ReplyDeletecongrats dear :) SO excited for you!
ReplyDeleteAll right, Di!
ReplyDeletethat is great. I hope it does leave you time to keep up your own art.
Dank u wel, Inge. I did smile over me learning French or using Dutch ... you know how Belgium is, it turns out English will be just fine ;) I feel very lucky.
ReplyDeleteI keep meaning to email you Inge, just to catch up and work out if you're working yet.
We talk about you always, Mlle ... you are so missed! And it will be good getting back to the Brussels that you actually taught me to love.
It does, Rencat, it's one day per week for 6 months which is so perfect that I feel kind of blessed.
OOOOOO!!! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteCreditability and money ... it's all very lovely, Gatita
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteCentral Brussels? Let us know if you're free for a coffee or lunch one day...
Thanks Simon :) I'll be out Sint Gillisvoorplein way but if I'm in the central city, I'll let you know. I might stay over sometimes and wander Brussels city with my camera the day before work, or the day after.
ReplyDeleteGreat news! Congratulations, it's not that easy to find an English Communications Assistant position in Brussels.
ReplyDeleteObviously, I'm more than curious about your job description. I'm eagerly waiting for the details of your first day on the job!
