One of the lovely things about my London-based Australian friend (befriended in Istanbul) is that when we spend time together, photography is very much a part of what we do.
In between racing all over the city, we found a small point of calm and took photographs of the ordinary things around us. We're still deciding on today's photographic destination - trying to work around grey skies and a strong breeze.
I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.
IT's gorgeous. Happy hunting!

ReplyDeleteBedankt Manic ... we have some ideas, just watching the skies to see what is possible.
ReplyDeleteHey thank you ulagalandha :)
A picture of autumn leaves that's not all red, gold, and tawny. Lovely cool tones in this photo. I can feel the grey skies above this scene.
