My lovely friend Lut just sent photographs of these wee puppies, puppies that are urgently looking for a home.

Surely it's a sign ...

Gert can't be reached for comment, as in he's sitting on the couch ignoring all 'ooohhs' and 'ahhhhs'.

  1. Sure he looks cute now sitting nicely in the palm of someone's hand, but when he's got your leg wrapped in a love clutch, you feel like a pervert. Not that I'd know anything about that....

  2. Lol, I have to add a link to the appropriate post on your blog at this point ... http://www.v-grrrl.com/journal/2007/10/3/barkin-up-the-wrong-tree.html

My dogs have never 'love clutched' anyone's leg, just btw ;)

  3. He looks so cute, why can't they develop dogs to stay small and cute forever.

    Cheerios, Gert!

  4. Hush Mark, hush!

But I want a nice middle-sized Labrador ... so he's safe for the moment Manic.

  5. I often wonder what kind of bond some people experience when putting one of those tiny "accessory dogs" in their handbags.

None at all, I suppose: just look at Paris Hilton ;-)

Like yourself, I'm desperately in need of a mid-sized dog (collies are my favorites, I used to own one)

But then again, same problem here: those pain in the ass apartment building rules...

  6. Are the building rules really a problem? I mean, if I found the labrador, I would get it. Apartment rules be dammed eh wot.

  7. Well, I would be in breach of my rental contract.

When one of my neighbours put a small satellite dish on the roof, another neighbour complained the dish was "disruptive", taking away a tiny part of his free view of Antwerp cathedral.

The dish had to be removed...

  8. Hmmm, well the dog wouldn't be allowed in anyones line of sight ;) and I think I have nice neighbours and the elevator doesn't stop for anyone ... I could probably keep it quiet while the dog was a puppy...
