I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.
There's a house on the main street in my village, painted pink brick. The kitchen window is right above the sidewalk and it has bright yellow curtains with large lime green polka dots. I ALWAYS want to photograph that window, but fear disturbing the residents by pointing my camera at their home at close range.
Here's to you striking up a conversation with the inhabitants of the house with the window so that you can take the memory of your walks home with you when you go :)

You did it again. Is it pure luck or do you really have the magic eye? This one can stand next to your Blue Door that you know I love. See you! Lut
