and my hair has been trimmed.
My daughter came into the bathroom and said 'Oh mum, what have you done?'
It might have been the chunk of my hair in my hand.
She fixed up what I had attempted and I like it.
My return to proper hairdressers will be announced with much fanfare and excitement sometime before Christmas.
Cutting your own hair? Talk about brave!
ReplyDeleteNeeds must and it often amuses me, except for the time Heidi cut it without a mirror and made it quite quite quite short.
ReplyDeleteI've been without an income for two longggggggggg years, the hairdressers was a luxury that I couldn't justify in my own mind. Income begins again in October, then I entrust my long hair to strangers again :)
seemed like a piece of poetry to me, nice moment, trippingly narrated…
ReplyDeleteA piece of poetry ... I wish all haircuts ended so well :)
ReplyDeleteI cut the little Grrrl's hair recently and the Boyo's. The Boyo's is the toughest--very thick. I prefer to leave him to the professionals.
ReplyDeleteI once trimmed the hair at the nape of my husband's neck with my bikini trimmer. Shhhh, don't tell anyone. I haven't decided yet whether that was erotic or gross.
I'm a NZer, the bikini trimmers can't be mentioned in my presence ...
