I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

...
First came the wine on the laptop keyboard episode in Istanbul, then came the broken laptop screen and here we are on episode 7063 of 'Di's Laptop on Life Support' ... my external keyboard died yesterday.
I think when I get back, we'll call the priest for Last Rites and then have a proper funeral, with chest thumping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth, and all of us stacking stones on the grave and sharing a few bottles of red afterwards.
Check Makro (Web site). E says the prices are very good, and we have a Makro card. : )
I think you should consider euthanasia for your laptop. I think that's legal in this country, but consult your computer doctor first just to be sure. :)
I've got one coming in September, I just need to hold on and get the work in the interim.
I'm considering it Manic but it just has to last a little longer somehow. I think, if the doctor was any good, she or he would run it down with a car outside the surgery rooms ;)
NO! NO! NO!
