I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

I can only 'give' good advice, I can't actually help myself.
Hmph! Then how can it be I've heard you do it a thousand times, lol?
C´mon, I do it all the time, too...just ask yourself what you'd tell me (well I use you, for example if I choose to perform this test in English) or Paris or you name 'em, if they were wearing those lovely shoes of yours. Tricky part is you've got to agree to listen to your wise self.
You've made a new and interesting life full of lovely people and family half way across the world from where you started. I think you're quite good at helping yourself.
Hmph!

Go ahead, now. We'll wait.
Worked, didn't it?
Lol ... uh huh.

'Viva la Nouvelle-Zelande!' she writes, in response to a previous comment made by a certain wandering-woman ;)

ReplyDeleteWell thank you but it always seems like I'm so much wiser with others.
