I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

I keep going back to the photographs I took of v-grrrl on Monday, studying the new background and the way that we used it. I don't often post photographs taken in the landscape format but I love this one ...
I wish I had spent more time on this composition ... I like it alot. Lol, imagine me inviting friends over now - 'Hey can you just sit on the floor so I can photograph you'.
How many years have you practiced photography? I mean, for good time, your blog was a regular text-blog abd then suddenly all these great pictures exploded in it.
My first husband was a superb photographer and so I played around with it back then ... family portraits for free and so many photographs of my daughter, our pets and etc ...
It's always been a passion but I'm finally taking the advice of so many over the years and making it my work too. I love people and animals, I love photography ... it seems to be working out.
I love this one too...the composition is so interesting and I like the energy.
