I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

Thanks Matthew, your cd has opened a whole new music world to me, as well as reminding me of Jack Johnson, an old favourite ...
HI there, thanks for your visit at my place and your lovely comment.
I'm a Kiwi too! I've lived for a couple of years in Palestine, on and off in Timor Leste and now have been in Afghanistan for over a year - but I still go home whenever I can and (yippee) will be heading home next week for two weeks RnR. With my lovely American bloke in two for the first introductions to the folks back home (wish him luck).
Hi Frida, no thanks needed - I really enjoyed visiting your site :)
A kiwi with an interesting life, let me know if you're ever in Belgium - you can come stay and bring your stories lol.
Enjoy your R&R in NZ, I'm working on mine ... x number of photo sittings = air ticket home = inspiration, as I'm sure you can imagine.
Best of luck with your American bloke back home but I'm sure you're sure they'll love him. They'll love my Belgian ... probably more than me, writes the giggling one. I'll never forget my outrage when my Nana transferred her affections to my first husband ... 'Leave him to sleep, he needs his rest and when he wakes, you can take him a nice breakfast'.

Nice to find you.
