I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

Taking a wee break from blogging ...
Back in a couple of days, with photos and stories.
I'm a friend of Andy Fierens - we met at the reception after the opening of the poetry tables in the library. I'm the poet that had been to New Zealand, we talked for a short while ...
I just found the card again that you gave me there. But now you just left the blog ... Nice pictures !
If you're interested in my blog : http://www.volkskrantblog.nl/blog/6275
have a nice time off, and be sure to come back ... :-)
Hi Bert, of course I remember you. I went searching online for your poetry the evening I met you and enjoyed what Gert translated for me.
I'll check out your blog today, that's for the link info. We had a lovely time thank you, xo
Hi Ascender, we had fun but no rest ... I bought you back photographs from Luxembourg and the Alsace ... we bought lovely white wines for ourselves and our guest. I would have shared had we been neighbours :)
Dear manic, you were right - 3 days was extremely patient ... you demanding blog reader, you :)
I found myself wishing for a laptop with wifi when I woke with hours to fill in the mornings while wandering. My motorbike accident joints are catching up with me and I couldn't laze about in bed for hours. Had I had laptop, would have blogged prolifically while wandering ... will do one day.

Manic ... that wasn't patient ;)
I waited until Tuesday to say you should come back. If that isn't patient, I don't know. I gave you three days or something :P
ReplyDeleteWith love from your local Manic
