I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

Part II
Well the day I was out photographing the donkey below, I was out with Alison and she was photographing me photographing the donkey.
The donkey and I had no idea but here's the result ... it made me smile.
Alison's a superb photographer ... and I did appreciate not knowing what she was up to ... the donkey and I were 'communing'.
And it was a fun outing ... we were over in Wallonia, the French half of Belgie. Beautiful countryside and I guess it goes without saying that the donkeys were a bit special too.
Smells like a carrot, looks like a carrot...

Lol, poor wee man ... he was cute and pushy but I'm not sure I realised how close he got while I was taking his picture.
