Civilian and Military deaths in Iraq since 2003

Iraq Body Count : somewhere between 43,846 and 48,343 Iraqis have been killed. This information was gathered despite General Tommy Franks, US Central Command stating, “We don’t do body counts”.

Fortunately someone does otherwise it would be all too easy to forget civilian deaths in Iraq. If you want to know more about how Iraq Body Count operates, read here .

As of September 30, 2006 some 2,711 members of the U.S. military have been killed since March 2003 according to an Associated Press count.

That's approximately 2 soldiers per day ...
