I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

A writer once said that angels can fly because they don't take themselves too seriously.
I borrowed this interview extract over at wind rose hotel . See the context I lifted it from ... it kind of delighted me.
hi WW - CONGRATS on your wedding - it looked like a fun day - just as such occasions should be. Hope you have a good wander! Looking forward to hearing all about it.
Interesting - Douglas Adam, the author of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy books wrote: "there is an art, or rather, a knack, to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." I don't know if that's too cheeky for the church or not...but then Adams was fascinated by religion, if not altogether roped in by it.

Hi Rob, we're having a lovely time wandering. It ended a Tapas Bar last night and the food was incredible.
