A little News from New Zealand

Sal posted a story that made me laugh this morning ... it's about why my tiny nation is great. It's clear that Kiwis just don't understand or accept limits.

  1. My assumption was that all Kiwis learn to drive no-handed at an early age. This allows one to open a beer can and pour it into a mug without having to pull-over. In this respect, our armless friend wasn't doing any out-of-the-ordinary.

But perhaps I was confusing NZ with Australia.

Thanks for plug #3 in as many weeks.

  2. I love this quote:

'"Obviously, driving at a speed like that, arms or not, you're just waiting for an accident," she said.".'

  3. I can't believe you got the kiwis confused with Australians ...!

But the blog plug is a pleasure, you did make me laugh with the story.

The vegemite posts are still to come but I need to buy in ingredients and get it 'just right' otherwise people might not be inspired to taste this downunder delicacy.

Hi wandering turk, I had to laugh at your quote ... and I could imagine how serious she was when she said it.
