I think the worst ...Thanks Gary, much appreciated.

I think the worst of it was that we have a good system in place but I had (foolishly, and not quite realising the system Gert had set up) loaded my Flanders Fields photographs onto the second external hard drive that backs up the first external hard-drive that backs up the laptop. The problem was that thousands of Istanbul photos had overloaded my laptop and the Flanders Fields photographs were only on the second back-up ...

It should have been foolproof but it could be said that I'm a wee bit special sometimes :)

I realised the problem when I went to organise sending you and another kiwi friend your relatives Flanders Fields photographs. Will try and get back onto that tonight.
xoDi Mackeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00273089782589416134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19028456.post-51748929721361667902009-05-11T09:17:00.000+02:002009-05-11T09:17:00.000+02:00So glad you got your photos back. It is often a sign of impending total failure (I don't want to rain on your parade, but I'd hate for your wonderful photos to be totally lost in a month or so)Catherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08236329216260906624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19028456.post-44010743041059159472009-05-11T01:50:00.000+02:002009-05-11T01:50:00.000+02:00SEAMLESSLY, OK, fingers crossed.SEAMLESSLY, OK, fingers crossed.Gary's third pottery bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07113249576164428106noreply@blogger.com
