I left New Zealand mid-2003, bound for Istanbul and a new lif. After two years, a Belgian guy lured me into his world, deep in the heart of Europe. For a long time I was an in-process immigrant. One day we married. These days it's about photography, a little red wine and wandering ... and so the journey goes.

Imagine ...
You discretely walk over to the showroom window somewhere in Brussels, intending to snap a photograph of a car that might make some people drool.
Yakup drooled, discrete but drooling.
Just as you start to line things up in your camera, the glass window in front of you slides open and startled, you yelp but feel compelled to do what you came to do ...
Feeling a little foolish and exposed, there's you ... the woman standing in front of the huge (now) open glass door, taking a photograph of a car you will never afford and you know the staff know it.
Did I write 'you' ... I meant 'me'.

Ohh a Mercedes!
It takes courage to live life with a camera in hand.
And you never know what the future may hold--maybe a Mercedes.
Oh oh yes manic, a mercedes.
Lol v-grrrl, as I wrote that post it occured to me that people inside opened the showroom window and were playing with me - until then I had assumed that I had stepped on an automatic door opening thingy.
Me in a Mercedes ... can you imagine it ;)
Ah, the Maybach store. Don't worry Di, everyone takes photos in there. I'm sure the clerks are used to it ... although that probably didn't stop them from watching the security video of you for a laugh later :)
Lol, thanks for the reassurance, anonymous :) I hadn't thought of the security cameras ...
