All Blacks versus France - Final Score ...

New Zealand won ...23 - 11 France.

France was stronger than last weekend but New Zealand won anyway, which is lovely for this homesick Kiwi living in Europe.

We might be only 4 million in population we play good rugby.

So what is this strange desire to turn on the oven and make some of mum's cheese on toasts ... ?

I remember her mixing grated cheese, an egg, a finely chopped onion and 1 tomato, loading the mixture onto bread toasted only on one side ... grilling said toast, then feeding us all after watching a good game.

I suspect the Belgians might call us 'Boeren' ...

Congrats! They deserved to win, although the French gave them a run for their money at times. Carter was superb and yes, the French pronounce his name quite deliciously - as they pronounce so many other words deliciously. :)

Oh they did deserve to win but the French were stronger.

Oh those French, the first time I spoke with a Frenchman back in NZ, I almost fell in a puddle at his feet lol. It must be lovely living amongst it all :)

My Mum made those exact same toasties - maybe she got the recipe from your Mum...
Mmmmm - haven't had lunch yet and just spotted the toastie machine yesterday - I'd forgotten about it (hushyomouth I can hear you say!) - might be time for a couple.
I'll have one for you too...
